Experience Architect, User Experience Designer, Digital Planner – call me which ever you like. I prefer to use the term Interaction Designer to categorise myself.

The primary point of building this site is to show you some of the things that I have been working on for the last couple of years. There are a few articles, however first and foremost, it is a presentation of website designs and different types of concepts ranging from problem solving IT-solutions to Art Installations in Urban Space.

Digital media is my speciality, as I have a Master Degree in Digital Design and Communication from the IT-University of Copenhagen. My area of specialisation is Digital Aesthetics and Interaction Design, which mean that I am providing solutions as to how you create aesthetic and engaging experiences through interaction within different user interfaces. Thus, I am not focusing solely on visual aesthetics, but rather on the intangible experiences - much the same as I am not focusing on the technology, but rather on the people using it. Therefore the technology is not a must in my designs - new media just happen to posses unique qualities that are very usable – at least if you know how to use them the right way!

I find it vital that people are at the centre of a given process and this is also the reason why ethnographically inspired studies of application contexts, to a greater or lesser extent, underlies all of my design projects. This means that the Users have been the main focus from the initial planning and ethnographic studies to the first generation of ideas and subsequent prototype testing; All for one purpose: to develop concepts that offer meaningful and intuitive interaction and systems that respond to the user's experience and not the other way around.
